Oconee Community Theatre

All activities and programs at the Oconee Community Theatre have been suspended indefinitely. This means that all rehearsals and preparations for 1984 and Hello Dolly! have ceased. The starting date for LAMDA classes (April 16th) will be rescheduled, and auditions for the comedy You Can’t Get There From Here have not been scheduled at all. It is possible that this production may be eliminated. The production of Hello Dolly! has been rescheduled to open our 2020-2021 Season with performances on September 18, 19, 20, and 25, 26, 27.

In the interval we will be cleaning and sanitizing all reachable surfaces, door handles, counters, and furniture. There will be an increased supply of soap and paper towels in every bathroom. We want everyone to be safe at OCT.

We will continue to monitor all healthcare bulletins for information regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, and respond to directives and protocols aimed at keeping a safe and healthy environment for all our patrons, volunteers, actors, and everyone in our community. We will resume our activities when everyone is safe.

You may wish  to monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC). You can also refer questions to the SC DHEC Care Line by calling 1-855-472-3432 every day between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
